July, August, update.

Hi,

I know it has been a very long time since i last updated my website, and I apologise for that. I just needed to get back on track after a very disapointing month in July where I wasn't able to reach semi finals in every race I took part in, world cups and U23 Euro champs.

I went back to Seu in August for a week of training with the Amadonsas, and it went really good. I've been training really hard in order to make me feel better on the water and more confident in everything I was doing. I also got a new boat, the evolution of my previous design, and its going well! Everyone is saying that the colors are great... might have something to do with that!

I then drove to Slovenia for the Pre-Worlds, where I had a very good good result last year at the World Cup. I finally was able to reach semi-final in 19th. I was very happy to be able to make it there especially on a 2nd run. I was 29th after 1st runs and had to go harder on 2nd runs which I did and came 19th, 5sec off Peter Kauser who won quals and 2.5sec off 2nd place!

My semi final run went really well also, going hard and fast, no mistakes, then a judge was really harsh with me and gave me 50sec penalty on gate 18, which i thought wasn't one, but the overall run was brilliant and that's what I came out here for. Build up confidence! I finish 20th and last of semi final, and would have been 13th without that.

I then drove back to Bourg, and picked up a bunch of Kiwis (New Zealanders) on the way, who had some issues with their van just outside Milan and after they packed up my car they followed me out here in the mountains. I will be going to Seu on friday for the last 2 weeks of training before the Big race (11-13th Sept)
